Christofer Born (Germany)

                    English                                 Deutschland                             Français

After his apprenticeship to a silversmith, Christofer Born has studied product design in Vienna as well as in Nuremberg. In 1996 he was nominated as a "Meisterschüler".
After his studies he worked for Rational as a Product Development Engineer and also for Niessing in the area of product design and product management.
This work experience was followed by a year-long trip to Australia, where he lectured at the TAFE of Perth
and Sydney. He also used this trip to extensively pursue rock climbing.
In 2005 Christofer Born founded born product ideas. www.bornproductideas.de
His design is always committed to and in line with the initial product idea. Many of his works and concepts are based on technical inventions. This implies that complete new products are developed and not “just” visual modifications. Christofer Born always keeps in mind the thrill and sense of delight when using these products.
The luminaire Lichtsack he designed - not without a sense of humour - has advanced already to a classic.
With WATERCLIMBING, Christofer Born managed to "domesticate" the latest trend among extreme rock
climbers (deep-water-soloing, climbing sea-cliffs) and thus made a fascinating sports experience possible to everyone.
Numerous of his products have received prestigious design awards.

Herlon Creazione (Italy)

The design partner of Pema Fashion, Herlon Creazione have developed fabric design for the lichtsack series from the Christofer Born.
The Idea behind this design is to create a bridge between fashion and lighting to express unity in style.
The presented Herlon Creazione autunno, a special Lichtsack series speaks for itself.
Design has to be seen from different prospective.

Nachacht Design(Germany)

Nachacht is made up of 3 designers from Berlin, Mark Bergold,Julian Jaede and Martin Schmid. The label was founded by Mark and Julian in 2007 who decided to meet after after work(nachacht literally translates to “after eight“) to develope ideas for furniture design.
All the projects from nachacht have an intuitive element of adjustability for personal preference that allows the user to change the colour and material break-up of the object to suit their taste. All the designs are essentially based around two core material types – wood and coloured metal, which gives the design a strong graphic element.
